For my workshop, I originally thought that I would be able to use Malibu 120, aka the room with the dance floor that I used in my Mock Workshop. Unfortunately due to security reasons, I was unable to be in any other space besides the outdoor quad where Relay for Life was taking place. So, my goal was to create a safe and hidden space where participants could take themselves out of a place of exposure and into a place where they could move without the feeling of being watched.

To create this space, I brain stormed with my professors, Heather and Catherine, to see what we had within the Performing Arts program that could help me build this idea. We luckily had large outdoor canopies (tents), group and individual yoga mats, a speaker, a light up sign, and I knew that at home I had an abundance of christmas lights. The space created took a lot of work, but luckily I had my classmate Jenny helping the entire time. Overall, I could not be more pleased with the outcome of the space. It got a lot of attention and questions as well which I think helped with the amount of participants.
